BRACEBRIDGE, ON – The award-winning Party in the Park event is back for its second year, and you’re invited! Join the Bracebridge Library on Friday, June 2, from 4 – 7 pm at Memorial Park for an evening packed full of fun. Party in the Park is a FREE community event that offers a variety of activities, including lawn games, a bouncy castle (new), live music, a goat petting zoo (new), face painting, prizes, and much more!
This event is a great way to celebrate and welcome the summer heat! Join in and enjoy the incredible talent of local musicians or bring cash and grab a burger or hot dog from the Lions BBQ. This event strives to be accessible to all by providing free activities and entertainment for the whole family.
This year’s music lineup is as follows:
4:15 – 5:00 pm – Scott Gardner and Walter the Amazing Guitar
5:15 – 6:00 pm – Neil Hutchinson & George Axon
6:15 – 7:00 pm – The Hopheads
Party in the Parks brings together local community groups and businesses to provide a variety of free interactive activities that helps build community bonds. Thank you to this year’s participating community partners: Bracebridge Centre for Active Living, Muskoka Arts & Crafts, EarlyON, Bracebridge Horticultural Society, Let The Cat Go, Muskoka Indigenous Friendship Centre, Bracebridge United Church, The District of Muskoka, Bracebridge Lions Club, Muskoka Pride, YWCA of Muskoka, Bracebridge Scouts, Town of Bracebridge, Bracebridge Fire Department, and Muskoka Paramedic Services.
In 2022 the Library was awarded the prestigious Minister’s Award for Innovation from the Ministry of Tourism Culture & Sport for the 2022 Party in the Park event. The Minister’s Award for Innovation recognizes successful new approaches that demonstrate a positive impact in a community and are of continued value to public libraries.
