The Bracebridge Library has free online resources to help you meet your goals. You can find resources to help build skills for work, learn a new language, start a business, or just save money. We’ve put together a list of our favourite online resources to kick off the new year.
LinkedIn Learning has over 5,000 courses for business, technology, and creativity. From learning how to play the ukulele to being a project manager, there is something for everyone. Take a course to help advance your career, or find ways to relax and explore your creative side. Log in to the website for free with your Bracebridge Library card and PIN to start learning.
Mango Languages has programs to learn over 70 different languages. Access Mango Languages through an internet browser or by downloading the app. By creating an account, you can track your progress, test out your pronunciation, and more!
Gale Business: Entrepreneur is a new database for Bracebridge Library members. Search popular books and magazines by topic to get information about how to set up a business plan, do market research, manage employees, and more! Gale Business is easy to use: search by popular topics or look up information using keywords to bring your business idea to life.
Fiero Code is an excellent resource for kids interested in coding. Self-paced tutorials provide a mix of instruction and activities geared towards children and teens. Start with the basics, work up to the challenges, and even win a prize with Fiero Code.
