The Youth Crew is for students in Grades 9 to 12 who want to earn volunteer hours or support their local library.

Youth Crew is paused until September.

The Visiting Library Service is a free service for some patrons who may be unable to visit the Bracebridge Library in person.

Patrons may request items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, among other materials. They will be delivered to their home at a pre-arranged time.

Staff who help with deliveries are required to undergo a security screening.

The Bracebridge Library is excited to introduce a new collection of free 3D-printed accessibility tools to support our community.

Small tools can make a big difference in everyday life. That’s why we’ve begun printing a variety of assistive devices designed to make common tasks easier for people with reduced hand strength, limited dexterity, arthritis, or anyone who could benefit from a little extra support.

This initiative is part of the Bracebridge Library’s ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone has access to resources that can enhance independence and improve everyday living. We’re excited to continue expanding this collection and welcome suggestions for additional accessibility tools that may benefit our community.

Our growing collection currently includes:

Easy-grip can openers
Bottle openers
Zipper pull helpers
Button hook tools for fastening clothing
Additional assistive tools as they become available
